Herzblut This series is about devotion, not as a grand gesture, but as something quieter, deeper, and more human. I wanted to explore what it means to give yourself fully to something, until it begins to leave traces on the body, in the studio, and in the atmosphere around you.
Photographed with artist Simon Meir over the course of one Friday afternoon, the work moves between observation and closeness. It follows moments of concentration, fatigue, pause, and persistence, looking at the fragile but powerful connection between a person and their practice. Here, heartblood is not a metaphor for drama, but for commitment, vulnerability, and the intensity of living through one’s work.
